Hello! My name is Kaylan Ma, and I am the Co-President of Beta Alpha Psi - Beta Chapter for 2025-26. I am a first-generation college student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with a minor in Economics and a concentration in Finance. Beyond BAP, I am involved on campus through VITA, the Business Honors Program, and the Associated Students of the University of Oregon, where I work as a Financial Controller. Outside of school, I enjoy fishing and crabbing, hiking with friends, and playing volleyball.
With new professional, social and volunteer events on the horizon this school year, our team is excited to create invaluable experiences that prepare students aiming to pursue careers in the fields of accounting, finance, and information systems. I look forward to meeting you all soon! Sco Ducks!
Position Description
The duties of the Co-President include carrying out the policies of the chapter, exercising general supervision over the activities of the chapter, organizing professional and volunteer events, weekly newsletter emails, maintaining Intranet reporting to National Chapter, and presiding at meetings of the chapter. In the absence of any officers, the Co-President is responsible for their roles and may disperse those responsibilities if they feel the need to do so.
